SCI FI was cable’s number one destination for viewers age 25 to 54 all three nights, 45 percent of whom were women. The miniseries averaged 4.2 million viewers a night.
Night One earned a 3.7 average household rating, with over 4.3 million viewers. That same number tuned in for Night Two, giving “The Triangle” a 3.6 rating on Tuesday night. Night Three drew 3.9 million viewers with a 3.3 rating.
The miniseries’s teleplay was written by Rockne S. O’Bannon (Farscape) from a story by O’Bannon, Singer, and Devlin.
In “The Triangle,” billionaire Eric Benirall is losing his cargo ships and their crews at a frightening pace — and now, he wants answers. The miniseries stars Eric Stoltz, Catherine Bell, Michael Rodgers, Bruce Davison, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Sam Neill.
SCI FI will reair all six hours of “The Triangle” this Sunday, December 11, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
