Canada’s Daily Planet show this week gave fans the first look at Sanctuary, the new virtual show starring Amanda Tapping (“Samantha Carter”). The show is written and executive produced by SG-1‘s Damian Kindler, and directed by long-time Stargate director Martin Wood.

The 6-minute spot includes interviews with Tapping and Wood, the first footage seen from the show, and a look at what it takes to create the virtual world. Sanctuary is filmed on a set that is almost entirely green screen, with the environment rendered later using 3D computer animation.
