Ratings for Stargate Atlantis‘s mid-season finale nearly returned to the season premiere levels. “This Mortal Coil” earned a 1.1 average household rating when it aired on December 7.
This is just one-tenth of a point down from the season-high of “Adrift,” and up one-tenth from the previous week’s episode.
“This Mortal Coil” kicks off a mid-season three-parter, and features the return of Torri Higginson as Dr. Elizabeth Weir.
SCI FI’s mini-series Tin Man dominated the cable network’s Top 10 list for the week, with 3.5 and 3.2 ratings. Ghost Hunters earned a 1.2, while ECW wrestling plummeted to a 0.6 for the week.
With Season Four now halfway done, Stargate Atlantis has averaged an estimated 1.05 rating (averaged from rounded off numbers) so far. The second half of the season begins airing on Friday, January 4, after the holiday break.
