We’ve just updated GateWorld’s Stargate Universe Season One episode guide with three new titles!
Consulting producer Joseph Mallozzi told fans on his blog that episode 12 is titled “Faith.” Mallozzi said that producer Carl Binder is assuming “revision duties,” implying that it may be a script from an outside freelancer. Stay tuned for more info.
Series co-creator Brad Wright has penned what appears to be a two-parter, “Darkness” and “Light,” set for the second half of the season.
As always, details — including titles — are subject to change as the episodes go through the production process. Filming is currently underway on “Water” and “Life.” SGU premieres this fall in the U.S., U.K. and Canada.
While no details on these episodes are known yet, we’ll continue to bring you the latest as info becomes available! Be sure to bookmark GateWorld’s SGU Launch Center for the very latest.
I wonder if they made “Faith” episode 12 on purpose? The 12th episode of the first season of Supernatural is also titled that. *shrug* That’s kind of messed up, but oh well.
I liked that episode of Supernatural. It was one of the best season one episodes–and still one of the best eps EVER. I hope SGU can do the title justice. I hope there really is something about real faith in there, without making fun of it, because I’m a Christian and I’d love to see a hint of that like we did in the Supernatural episode.
I agree with CGF. TPTB have stated that they want the characters in this show to be as realistic and believable as possible. Christianity is obviously a huge part of many people’s lives, and I really hope that we’re represented in SGU as well.
As well as should Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, and Secular Humanism. Christians don’t necessarily have a monopoly on faith.
I hope a bunch of special interest groups don’t try to steer this show.. I am looking forward to it!
Meh. I really don’t think anhuge nod to faith is necessary. Not that I’m not Religious out Stargate has always left that sort of ambiguous which I’ve liked.
Incidentally, very few of the people watching this show are going to Zoroastrian… and isn’t Secular Humanism sort of against Belief in God in general? Just asking…
I JUST LOVE HOW THE MODERATORS HERE delete comments after people take precious moments out of their life to have a say on Stargate-related things….
