My fave five would have to include the very first time we met Bra’tac! My fave line is when O’Neill says: “We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it” and Bra’tac responds with: “The bridge is too heavily guarded…” Serpents Lair, Allegiance, and Threshold are my faves as are Bloodlines and Into the Fire!
I have a suggestion for Friday Five…aside from favourite moments from each character, how about Five funniest moments. Or go the other way and do Five saddest moments. :)The possibilities are endless!! :)

The best Carter-McKay moments? Or Rodney’s greatest ideas? Or Jack’s coolest phrases? The most terrific enemies (person)? Favourite gadgets? Funniest whole episodes? Or the five moments, that you find exaggerations, even if it is a scifi?
I hope, you can use some of my ideas.

And can you crate a new “Friday Five” tag, like “Podcast”? It would make easier to find the older FFs.

Bra’tac was/is easily one of the greatest characters in all of Stargate.

I would add episodes like “Orpheus”, “Bloodlines”, “Reckoning”. Definitely Orpheus… one of my personal favorites, made only better by the Daniel/Teal’c moments.

Allegiance has always been my favorite Bra’tac episode-his last lines in the episode always bring tears to my eyes. Threshold was fantastic as well. Yes, his episodes are hard to choose from-they are all great!

Thank you for using my suggestion for a Friday Five! When I saw the article, I couldn’t wait to read it. :)

I’m not sure if others feel the same and I’m too busy now to look up the particular episode but one of my favorite Bra’tac quotes is when he is coming into the SGC and meets Elizabeth Weir for the first time. He immediately asks with a sort of quiet sadness and remorse if “Hammond of Texas has fallen in battle” or something along those lines. That was probably one of my favorite moments as it showed his compassion and love for the Tauri as well as his life viewpoint in that just because Hammond is not there he must… Read more »
