Propworx Stargate Auctions: Week Six

GateWorld takes a look at ten of the Stargate auctions that are now live on eBay, exclusively from Propworx!

propworx_baalcostumePropworx’s Stargate auctions have been going strong for the past five weeks, and this week they move into their sixth round of kicking out props for the popular franchise! Currently eBay is hosting over a hundred costumes, props and set dec items from both SG-1 and Atlantis.

As with every week, here are our top picks from the latest offerings for sale …

Baal Continuum Costume
Costume worn by actor Cliff Simon as “Baal” in the direct-to-DVD feature, “Stargate Continuum”. Introduced in the fifth season of SG-1, Baal was the only Goa’uld who appeared to truly understand humanity. In Continuum he reset the timeline by traveling into the past and submerging the Egyptian Stargate into the Atlantic ocean. With his knowledge of the future he was able to bend all sides to his will, including the System Lords and the Jaffa. But he did not anticipate the deception of his mate, Qetesh.

Richard Dean Anderson Chair Back
Director’s chair-style chair back used by Richard Dean Anderson. This chair back was used by the actor during the production of Stargate SG-1.

Atlantis Climbing Jumpsuit
Climbing jumpsuit used in the production of the Stargate Atlantis Season Five episode, “Search and Rescue”. The Stargate production team hired real climbers to suit up and portray rescue personnel in this episode.

propworx_reolechemicalringTok’ra Reole Chemical Ring
Reole chemical ring worn by actor Ben Browder as “Cameron Mitchell” in the Stargate SG-1 Season Ten episode, “Company of Thieves”. A ring of this type was introduced in Season Five’s “Summit,” where the Tok’ra had modified the camouflage Reole chemical to emulate any specific human being.

Camelot Knight Sword
Metal sword with black handle used in the production of Stargate SG-1. This sword is the type used by the knights in shining armor as seen in the Season Nine episodes “Avalon, Part 2” and “Camelot”. Cameron Mitchell defended himself against this weapon with the “Excalibur” sword in “Avalon, Part 2,” revealing that he had taken fencing classes in college.

Aris Boch Armor Art
Two concept art sketches for Aris Boch’s armored costume and helmet from the Stargate SG-1 Season Three episode, “Deadman Switch.”

propworx_sodanstaffweaponSodan Staff Weapon
Sodan version of the Jaffa staff weapon, used by the reclusive Sodan society in the ninth season of Stargate SG-1. The Sodan were a splinter group of Jaffa warriors who separated themselves from the Goa’uld to find freedom, only raiding the strongholds of their enemy when they required Goa’uld symbiotes to survive. The conflict with the Ori eventually lead to their destruction.

Asgard Mothership Concept Art
Three original concept art sketches for the interior of Loki’s Asgard Mothership, featured in the Stargate SG-1 Season Seven episode, “Fragile Balance.” The Asgard Odin was originally the planned Asgard to appear in this episode, but this was later changed to Loki.

Puddle Jumper Panel
Panel taken from the wall of the Ancient Puddle Jumper, seen in numerous episodes throughout Stargate Atlantis. The Puddle Jumper served as a transport craft to use Pegasus Stargates located in space or to traverse vast distances.

propworx_asgardpistolPegasus Asgard Pistol
Pistol used by the members of the Pegasus Asgard in the Stargate Atlantis Season Five two-parter, “First Contact” and “The Lost Tribe”. These Asgard held Drs. Daniel Jackson and Rodney McKay at gunpoint, forcing them to activate the Attero Device.

How did last week’s auctions play out? The Wraith Rifle with Working Lights sold for $1652.97, a Zat’ni’katel sold for $1,325, and the Light-up Puddle Jumper panel sold for $1,136.11. On the other end of the spectrum, Bra’tac’s stunt beard sold for $16.50, a pen light sold for $20.50, and the Replicator Koracen’s distressed jacket sold for $22.50.

What’s to come for week seven? Only time will tell! The above auctions, and a hundred more, will continue from now until Sunday night! Check out the eBay auctions now, and be sure to visit StargateArtifacts.com for more information.
