Stargate Atlantis fans, ready for one of the biggest give-aways we’ve ever done?
To celebrate this week’s release of Stargate Atlantis: The Complete Series on Blu-ray (Region 1 – North America), we’re giving away one copy of the box set plus an SGA script autographed by the entire Season Five cast. Read on to find out how to enter.
The Complete Series features all 100 episodes of the show in high definition, on 20 discs. That’s all of Seasons One through Five, plus all the episode commentaries and bonus material previously released on the DVD editions. It comes with a suggested retail price of $199.99, but (if you don’t win our give-away) you can pick it up on Amazon.com today for $114.99 — more than 40 percent off (subject to change). And you’ll be supporting GateWorld with your purchase!
The prize pack also comes with a copy of the script for the fourth season episode “The Kindred, Part 1,” famous for bringing back the Wraith hybrid Michael (played by Connor Trinneer) and resurrecting the deceased Dr. Carson Beckett (Paul McGillion) in the final, cliffhanger moments. It was written by series executive producers Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie.
The original script has been autographed by the full, regular cast of Season Five: Joe Flanigan (“John Sheppard”), Rachel Luttrell (“Teyla Emmagan”), Jason Momoa (“Ronon Dex”), David Hewlett (“Rodney McKay”), Jewel Staite (“Jennifer Keller”), and Robert Picardo (“Richard Woolsey”). It’s a final draft, dated July 16, 2007.
Here’s how to enter:
Just visit this thread at GateWorld Forum and post one thing you love about Stargate Atlantis — a favorite memory, character, episode, line of dialogue, etc. If you aren’t a member yet, it’s free and easy to sign up! And you’re just in time to join us for the Stargate Rewatch starting August 1!
The Fine Print:
You must be 18 years or older and a legal resident of the United States or Canada. One winner will be selected by random drawing after August 1 and his or her eligibility verified. One entry per person, please! Multiple entries detected, even from different accounts, will result in disqualification.
We’ll contact the winner by the e-mail address on the forum account, so make sure it’s up to date and you have access to check it regularly. The winner will have seven days to respond and claim his or her prize, after which he or she will be disqualified and another winner selected. We have had this happen before, so please watch your inbox and your spam folder.
Good luck!
