Fan favorite Richard Dean Anderson will be among the guests at this year’s annual Shore Leave convention August 1-3, 2014, organizers have announced. The event takes place in the Baltimore area.

Known for his roles in Legend, MacGyver and of course, as Jack O’Neill in the Stargate franchise, Anderson has been a popular guest at conventions since 2008.

He’ll join other familiar Stargate faces announced so far, including Robert Picardo (“Richard Woolsey”) and Michael Welch (“Young Jack”), as well as Grimm‘s Silas Weir Mitchell (“Monroe”).
