Stargate Atlantis actor Jason Momoa (Ronon Dex) has been busy as of late — and he’s not slowing down.
Momoa is following up his 2018 smash hit Aquaman with the Apple TV+ drama See — a post-apocalyptic thriller debuting on Apple’s streaming platform on November 1.
The first-look trailer was released this week during an Apple presentation in Cupertino, California.
See is set “far in a dystopian future,” according to IMDb, “after the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, build, hunt, and to survive.” And all of that is challenged when a set of twins with sight is born.
Momoa will play Baba Voss — the father and protector of the newborn babies, who are hunted for their special abilities.

Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) created the series and serves as showrunner. Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Red Sparrow) directed the pilot.
See is also noteworthy as it’s part of the first batch of Apple TV+ shows ordered to series. A monthly membership for the streaming platform — which will go live November 1 — costs $4.99 (USD).
Next up, Momoa will appear in Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Dune, playing the renowned swordsman Duncan Idaho. He will also reprise his role as Aquaman / Arthur Curry in the sequel to Aquaman. That is currently slated for release on December 16, 2022.
For reasons having nothing to do with Jason Momoa, this will be a terrible show, mark my words.
