I was born in Romania and emigrated to the States with my mother in February, 1989. We missed the Revolution by ten months. My academic background is in political science w/ focus on political philosophy. I didn’t start out as an aspiring political philosopher, but the moment I was introduced to Socrates, and shifted my attention to the reasons why my mother left Romania with a suitcase and a 12 year old, politics became personal. And then someone introduced me to SG-1, to Daniel Jackson, and here I am!
