Ruslan Chernovshev

Colonel in the Russian military, once Miroslav Kiselev's Chief of Staff. Born in Vologda, Russia, Chernovshev was involved in a plot to sell a captured Goa'uld symbiote to elements of the Trust. He is likely directly responsible for implanting a Goa'uld symbiote in Kiselev's body, giving the Goa'uld direct control of the Russian military.

He later questioned Daniel Jackson when he tried to gain access to Kiselev, warning him about Robert Kinsey. However, Chernovshev already knew of Kiselev's present status and did not want the United States Air Force getting close to him.

Chernovshev's next of kin is Alenka Nestrova. He was approximately 49 years old at the time he met Dr. Jackson.
