Deep space carrier, the third to emerge from Earth's space craft assembly line. The ship is likely named for Sergey Pavlovich Korolyov, the Soviet Union's chief rocket engineer during the twentieth-century space race. The commander was Colonel Chekov, handed over to Russian control after U.S. President Henry Hayes decided it was the only way to keep the Stargate in the hands of the United States government.
The Korolev was fast-tracked into active duty to support the anti-Ori armada at the former coordinates of P3Y-229. The vessel engaged four Ori warships alongside the Odyssey, as well as Tok'ra, Asgard, Free Jaffa, and Lucian Alliance allies. But the weaponry of the Ori warships was too strong, and the Korolev was completely destroyed in the battle. All hands are presumed lost, though two members of SG-1 did manage to escape before the vessel exploded.
Camelot - The Korolev arrives at the Supergate just in time to greet four Ori warships as they emerge -- and begin to carve up the Milky Way Galaxy's forces.
Flesh and Blood - The destruction of the Korolev at the hands of the Ori forces is reported.
