World investigated by Samantha Carter, Teal'c and Major Castleman. Near the Stargate on this world stands a pedestal containing symbols of the Ancients, perhaps as a warning to the dangers of the planet.

The world has no indigenous life forms. The initial M.A.L.P. data did not reveal a second sun which rose after the team's arrival, heating up the planet-wide temperature to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

While on the planet the D.H.D. seized up, preventing the team from returning. In a second attempt, the D.H.D. became lodged in mid-dial while suspending the inner track of the Stargate in a locked position.

Fortunately, Jack O'Neill has the Ancient's knowledge inside his brain. He developed charts to the entire D.H.D. plus instructions on how to repair it, bringing the three home.
