Vallarin

Major in the Russian military under the command of Colonel Zukhov, assigned to travel to planet P2X-338 in the hopes of recovering a missing Russian Stargate team. Vallarin was aware of the secret mission assigned to Zukhov, to recover the Eye of Tiamat from inside an ancient ziggurat. When Vallarin was possessed by the recently-escaped Goa'uld Marduk -- long buried in the prison of a sarcophagus -- his knowledge became a pawn.

Marduk, inside Vallarin, demanded the immediate return of the Eye -- but instead received a grenade, blowing away a portion of his arm. The host survived even as Marduk arose from the rubble, chasing down SG-1 only to be destroyed for good when C4 detonated in his face and collapsed the ziggurat.
