Whitlow

Individual in the United States government with ties to almost every United States agency, including military intelligence, C.I.A., N.S.A., and the N.I.D. He is an old acquaintance of Major General George Hammond, and owed him a favor. Whitlow and Hammond occasionally traded information, and he was aware of the existence of the Stargate program.

Whitlow revealed that a requisition had crossed his desk for a C-5 Galaxy airplane to land at an N.I.D. air strip in Utah, just south of the Black Mountains. At the time the beta Stargate and the Madronan's Touchstone weather-control device had been missing. The information Whitlow provided would eventually lead SG-1 to the recovery of both items, as it was a rogue arm of the N.I.D. that was responsible for their theft.

Whitlow might be the same person as Stan, Chief of Staff to President Henry Hayes.
