Galaran scientist with high security clearance, assigned to the Galaran memory project with Dr. Reya Varrick and Dr. Marell. Amuro was opposed to the Galaran military controlling the project, either because of the moral and ethical ramifications or taking a back seat to his own work, or a combination of both.
Following Dr. Varrick's death, Amuro worked with Marell to clear Colonel Cameron Mitchell's name of the murder, and in the process discovered that his partner, the former husband of Varrick, was responsible for her death.
