Ancientbrainscanner.jpg

Self-contained unit, portable component of a D.N.A. manipulator designed to measure the synaptic activity of a subject's brain and feed it back into a genetic manipulation device. The device is Ancient in design, though likely created in some part by Anubis to monitor the development of his genetically engineered creations.

Cameron Mitchell nicknamed the device an "ascend-o-meter."

Earth later modified the scanner to be worn as a headband equipped with a series of sensors.
