Marine stationed on board the Daedalus, under the command of Colonel Steven Caldwell. During an incident when John Sheppard and Elizabeth Weir were possessed by the alien personas of Thalan and Phoebus, Caldwell ordered Hutchinson and another Marine to stand guard near Atlantis's power room. Thalan (in Sheppard's body) disabled them both and managed to damage the Zero Point Module interface in the power room.
