A device inspired by Sokar's particle accelerator, designed by Samantha Carter roughly three months after Sokar used his to attack the S.G.C. The device works much the same way as Sokar's, shooting a highly accelerated beam through the Stargate to another covered gate, eating away the matter that blocks the event horizon from reintegrating objects.
