Petra

Member of Eldred's people on the planet he ruled. She and Eldred broke bread with visitors Rodney McKay, Teyla Emmagan, and Ronon Dex when the three needed shelter for the night.

When Petra was about to become a plaything for the Constable of the Lord Protector's Guard, Ronon stepped in and killed him, as well as most (if not all) of the others in the group. The new Lord Protector, Otho, saw this and planned to make an example of Eldred's village, despite the fact that it was a foreigner that committed this crime.

Petra banded the villagers together, swearing that she would rather fight and die than be killed as a meaningless example by the Lord Protector.
