According to young Charlie, a human clone created by the Reetou, Reetalia is the homeworld of the insectoid species. Reetou exist 180 degrees out of phase with normal matter, allowing them to be completely invisible. Their planet was once attacked and decimated by the Goa'uld, who saw the Reetou as a potential threat to them.
The Reetou alliance opposes the Reetou rebel faction, a rogue group wishing to exterminate all human life in order to eliminate possible hosts for the Goa'uld -- and thus defeat them through attrition.
