Colonel in the U.S. military. Rudnell instructed Chief MSgt. Walter Harriman to parade bunting samples for General Jack O'Neill to review prior to the arrival of President Henry Hayes for a formal visit to Stargate Command. (O'Neill eventually learned the unfortunate news that red, white and blue bunting was unavailable.)
Note: This may be the same character as Tom Rundell, only mispronounced by Walter.
