Stan Kovacek

Major assigned to Stargate Command, unit commander of SG-9. Kovacek met with the governing body of the Taldur to attempt to negotiate the release of SG-1 after they were sentenced to the prison colony of Hadante. After he managed to establish an open dialogue, Major Kovacek accompanied General George Hammond back to the planet for further talks.
Kovacek served as a go-between with the Taldur and Hammond until the talks broke down. Fortunately, SG-1 managed to free themselves and return home.
