Vonos

Taranian citizen who settled on a hillside within the caldera of a super-volcano. In the face on an immanent eruption Vonos and a small band of settlers pressed Atlantis expedition members, believing they would be safer heading towards the river on foot rather than waiting in a cave for a starship. Despite please for them to remain from Carson Beckett, Teyla Emmagan, and Ronon Dex, Vonos and his group were steadfast in their decision.

When the Orion became an option for transport, Vonos and his group lost all patience and departed on foot. They were likely the only settlers to have lost their lives when the super-volcano erupted.
