Wade Stokes

Sheriff of Silver Creek Park on Earth. Stokes was accustomed to hunters pursuing game in the woods within his jurisdiction. He did not share Hank Landry's concerns when, during hunting season, an unusual wild animal killed a hunter.

Sheriff Stokes's attitude later changed when a second maimed body was discovered a mile north of Silver Creek Junction. Stokes failed to question a Trust operative that Cameron Mitchell discovered in the woods, and the man was later taken into custody by the Air Force. Soon afterwards the sheriff himself was killed by a rabid wild animal -- found to have been genetically altered by an extradimensional parasite.
