Stargate Command engineer dispatched to Revanna with SG-1 to repair Yu's damaged Tel'tak, along with Spellman. The cargo ship would then be flown to Earth's solar system in the hopes of using the craft to deposit a powerful weapon on the surface of an asteroid which was spiraling toward the planet.

After their work was done Carter instructed Webber and Spellman to dial the Alpha Site, where they were expected.

Webber (and likely Spellman, too) was a part of the X-301 project, the Area 51 team that modified a Goa'uld death glider for Earth use ... but overlooked Apophis's recall device.
