Scientist stationed with the Atlantis expedition in the Pegasus Galaxy. Moore and McNab had traveled to Atlantis specifically to study the ocean on M8R-169. They brought a thousand feet of cable and a powerful winch to lower their instruments. These devices were eventually modified to assist Colonel John Sheppard and Dr. Radek Zelenka in rescuing Dr. Rodney McKay and crewman Griffin.

Moore and McNab's devices were not used, however. The Puddle Jumper sank to a depth which prevented the technology from operating safely. Instead, the Jumper's cloak was reconfigured to a shield, which extended around the damaged ship.
