Lieutenant and a member of SG-9. Baker remained loyal to his commander, Captain Jonas Hansen, when Hansen portrayed himself as a god to the natives of Jamala's planet who were suffering from a poisonous sun plight, now forced to build an empire. Baker was killed by a local after he attempted to eliminate Daniel Jackson.
