Lieutenant, member of SG-6. He and his unit were sent undercover to P2X-885 to monitor the activity of the Ori Priors and their efforts to convert the population to Origin.

After returning from the mission, Brooks eventually began to display symptoms of a Prior plague. Lieutenant Fischer had become a carrier, and spread the infection to Brooks.
