Resident of Hendricks County, Indiana and employee of Stylin' Joe alongside Bert Simmons. For many years Gordie listened, with interest, to Joe Spencer's stories of the Stargate and the field unit, SG-1. It was only several years into the stories when he discovered Joe believed everything to be true.

Gordie witnessed a gradual drop in business over the years as patrons were driven from the store by the endless storytelling. When business grew to a nearly gradual halt he informed Joe that he had applied for a job at the local Piggly Wiggly. Joe, understanding he had to make a living, did not discourage Gordie from doing so.
