A primordial world with a plentiful supply of sunlight and oxygen, much like Earth a quarter of a billion years before. The world is without intelligent life, making it ideal for habitation by rampant organisms. SG-1 sent the Orb, and the sentient organisms within it, to this planet as a replacement on the guarantee that it would not devour Earth.
