A highly unorthodox feast in which the System Lords demonstrate their superiority and dominance, even over their own kind.
To prove to themselves and their closest servants that they are the rulers of all Goa'uld, a vat of live symbiotes is brought into the summit hall. The System Lords then take great pleasure in consuming the larval symbiotes raw and alive. This occurs every evening for as long as the summit lasts.
Daniel Jackson speculated this feast is part of the reason why the Goa'uld have been showing zero population growth.
