A.T.F. officer assigned north of Seattle to investigate the cult helmed by the Goa'uld Seth. When the Air Force arrived on the scene, Hamner was understandably distraught, believing they were going to disrupt or relieve him of his operation. After Jack O'Neill made a phone call to the president, the Commander-in-Chief instructed him to personally provide whatever backup O'Neill saw fit.

Hamner and his unit rendered aid to evacuate Seth's worshippers and overtake the fortified area.
