Microscopic organism indigenous to Vagonbrei. The parasite gorges itself on melatonin in the human body until becoming enlarged, effecting the surrounding brain tissue and provoking a lethal aneurism.

The only known cure lies with a local lizard which, be it accidental or deliberate, possesses a natural immunity.
