Ratings are in for “Brain Storm,” the sixteenth episode of Stargate Atlantis’s final season, and they are no surprise. Atlantis continued its solid fifth season performance with a 1.2 average household rating on November 21.
This is down one-tenth of a point from the previous week, but consistent with the season’s overall performance to date.
Written and directed by Martin Gero, the episode saw Rodney McKay and Jennifer Keller return to Earth to attend a posh science presentation by one of McKay’s rivals. But when the secret technology goes awry, everyone at the party is in danger of freezing to death.
At the top of the ratings chart for the SCI FI Channel during the week was Ghost Hunters, which rose a full half-point to an impressive 2.2 rating. Sanctuary dipped one-tenth to a 1.4 for “Edward,” and ECW wrestling and the new reality show Estate of Panic pulled up the rear with 1.2 ratings.
Don’t miss “Identity,” the final new episode of 2008, this Friday at 9 p.m. (8 Central) on SCI FI! The final two episodes of Stargate Atlantis will air in January.
