Former Stargate Atlantis co-star Jason Momoa is racking up the big screen credits, and has just been cast in Wolves — the feature directorial debut for X-Men writer David Hayter.
Momoa (“Ronon Dex”) will play the villain in the film, the werewolf patriarch in a small town called Lupine Ridge, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The story follows a young man (played by Lucas Till) who transforms into a werewolf and finds himself falsely accused of murdering his parents.
Momoa jumped from Stargate and Game of Thrones to the big screen as the anti-hero in Conan the Barbarian. Next he’ll appear as the villain in the new Sylvester Stallone movie Bullet to the Head, opening in February (story).
He has also filmed Road to Paloma, an independent film he also co-wrote and directed.
Wolves begins filming next month in Toronto.
I miss him in Games of Thrones, but anything can happen!
That is true in GOT.
Glad he is keeping busy.
Cool!
David Hayter is also the voice of Snake in Metal Gear, unless it is another David.
Awesome!
