Visit the GateWorld Podcast page for more about the show!
We all have fond memories of shows which died long before their time. But what about the other end of the spectrum? Are there shows which lasted far past their prime? From an objective point of view, are any of the Stargate series among them?
GateWorld Podcast hosts David and Diana examine this topic in detail in this episode! We open our show with a little catch-up time, explaining why that elusive interview with Kate Hewlett hasn’t arrived yet, and then spend several minutes discussing the Big Finish Stargate audio drama series (with an exclusive sample for your listening pleasure).
Not only do we discuss Stargate and other sci-fi shows, but David and Diana also explore other genres, discuss what worked well, and what fell flat.
The GateWorld Podcast wishes you and yours a happy, healthy holiday and new year! We will be returning with more episodes in January 2013.

tomaso88 | December 27 @ 11:10 amDavid, where is the next chapter in your audio drama. The first three were great.
Ramses818 | December 28 @ 1:19 amStay tuned!
David Read | December 29 @ 6:28 amI agree with the above posters. How can network TV be trusted when it comes to telling a story over many episodes? It can’t as the above states… I would add Jericho, The Last Resort, Threshold, Invasion. I no longer want to waste my time watching a story slowly unfold if I don’t know what is going to happen. I was thinking if they had any mercy, they might put up a website when it sure that the show will not return and give us the writers’ thoughts as to direction. No such luck!!
I also agree with Diana about DS9… I can’t remember a show that I actually waited on tenterhooks for every week! Those last 3 years were amazing!
Just my 2 cents. Thanks for the fun podcasts! They make my exercising easier!
