Visit the GateWorld Podcast page for more about the show!

This week on the GateWorld Podcast we continue our series on the history of Stargate, with the seventh season of Stargate SG-1! This year had some weaker episodes and a further reduction in Richard Dean Anderson’s time, but the show made up for it with the return of Daniel Jackson, episodes focusing on the other members of the team, and two of Stargate’s finest episodes. Tune in this week to hear what we think.

But first we’ll recap everything that’s new in Stargate news, plus the newest features at GateWorld. This week we have a special audio preview of the newest Stargate Atlantis audio drama from Big Finish Productions, “Impressions” (starring Kavan Smith). Podcast listeners will also get an early preview of our upcoming interview with Stargate costume designer Christina McQuarrie!

  • You guy have mentioned several times that you don’t especially like earth based episodes, and I was wondering why? As they tend to be among my favorite episodes, you get to see different sides of the characters out and about in the “real” world.

  • about evolution, i also thought this one was a weeker 2 part episode BUT i loved this episode the sam and jack moment when he tells her that he is going to save daniel and sam reacts and its just a beautiful moment and thier goodbye =[

  • by the way- how can you not mention the sam and jack kiss? WOW i was shocked. mostly by the face that one of you is a sam and jack fan….

  • I have always felt that season Seven was the weakest and least impressive of all the seasons. There were a few individual episodes that were really good, but as a whole, just a very weak season.
