Next week’s brand new episode of Stargate Universe is one we have been waiting for a long, long time. It’s not only a much-welcome crossover with two of Stargate Atlantis‘s cast members (David Hewlett and Robert Picardo guest star), but it also pushes forward SGU‘s story arc with an important mission involving the Lucian Alliance and the possibility of reaching Destiny using that other naquadria-rich planet everyone knows about: Langara, homeworld of Jonas Quinn.
Watch the two videos just released by Syfy Channel and tell us you don’t think “Seizure” looks like the most epic hour of Stargate Universe yet.

That “hair” bit is weird given that it looks like McKay is in Brody’s body (who has LOTS of hair. hehe.

Good to see an old familiar face – Rodney McKay is back! I can’t wait to see his and Woolsey’s scenes on YouTube – I’ve missed them and the other SGA characters!
@Mollymouse – there is a unsubstantiated rumor that Corin will make an appearance, but no real evidence as of yet.
Have been waiting for this episode for what seems like a year now. And while its great to see both David and Robert in SGU the storyline in this one episode looks to be the real winner here. Loving the Eli vs. McKay scene and from the sneak peek it looks like round #1 goes to Eli. But McKay is still my guy. I am going to miss this show.
so not only do we get to see McKay but also Langara! I thought Earth lost contact with Jonas homeworld during the Ori invasion right?

During Ori invasion they lost contact with everyone.
@Sylvia: If I remember correctly, Nemec said something about “revisiting a character in the third live-action incarnation of a franchise.”

from the look of things it seems homeworld command will arrive on langara and either give access or trade one of the ancient stones in exchange for gate access to destiny. this is gonna be good.

“Hope” was a very good episode but “Seizure” looks awesome. I’m really looking forward to seeing Rodney McKay back in action.

A Dog’s Breakfast from 2007 is the only movie he evere directed. If you take a look at IMDB…
@ThomasG… which film are you referring to? The only film I know that Hewlett had anything to do with recently, is Splice. Not a “great” film, but sort of watchable :)
David directed an “Evil Snow Monkey Movie” (his description) for Syfy last year. On his blog he says it’s in post-production, but he doesn’t know when it will air. It was filmed in Bulgaria and had Jewel Staite’s husband as one of the actors. He is also in the upcoming prequel to Planet of the Apes, Morlocks and has been doing voice-overs for some Syfy animation project.

the rest of them are still boring or Not likeable.
and God I still have not watched since season 1 and they still are doing the shakey camrea stuff from battlestar and doing it poorly it’s flying all over the place and most the time the faces are off the screen. Worst Dramatic camera shots ever…. they need to stop it would have improved the show somewhat. but I guess it is too late for that now.
Ya i watched some more clips from season 2 and that shakey cam is still around and It looks like it was shot by a 2 year old playing with a Expensive HD camera.
Seriously if there is a next stargate go back to the Tripod you don’t have to shake it for the whole show action shots maybe but not standing in a room talking it don’t up the drama it’s just annoying.
i thought Anubis took Langara’s stockpile of naquadria? I dont see how Langara fits into the picture here. side note, i hope we get see jonas again someday…
@kelix the entire planet Langara is laced with naquadria impossible for anubis to have taken it all not too mention his ship was destroyed before they could take over the planet. So connecting the gate to the naquadria trying to dial Destiny is how they fit into the picture.

I am so upset.. I just finally got to watch the last few episodes of SGU… did they SERIOUSLY just leave it like that? what the heck? and now they’re selling all the props so we can’t even hope some other company/channel will pick it up.. what a cruddy raw deal!
