I enjoyed this episode save for one thing: skipping over entering the galaxy. This would have been a perfect episode for going through the void. More than anything though, I don’t like the idea of them going to a planet off screen. It makes the audience feel left out, especially on a show with such strong continuity. That makes it feel like some of the problems I had with Atlantis. Oh, and that isn’t a deus ex machina. It would be a deus ex machina if they pulled it out of nowhere or without adequate explanation. i also enjoyed this episode. it was better than i was expecting it to be. I was expecting a “filler” episode to get the story setup for the finale but i found the episode intriguing. but i agree that the void should have been used. They could have easily made crossing the void work with that episode or used it for several. I felt like the void crossing was overlooked. i mean isn’t that kind of a big deal, crossing the gap between 2 galaxies? I guess my concern about this new galaxy is really the blue aliens.
