Self-contained, portable Wraith unit with anti-gravity capability, allowing Wraith personnel aboard a hive to view the play-by-play of confrontations with Runners on the surface of planets. In addition to uses of sport, the monitoring device may also be used for reconnaissance.
In addition to a floating version, each Wraith warrior on a hunt is also equipped with a wearable monitoring device, much smaller in size, but projecting audio and visual feeds of equal sophistication back to their hive ships.
KEY EPISODE
Sateda - The Wraith responsible for Sateda's destruction recaptures Ronon Dex and uses multiple monitoring devices to enjoy the former Runner's torment without endangering himself.
