Gary Jones in Season Nine premiere

Following the tradition of the last three years Season Nine will kick off with a 2-part episode, actor Gary Jones confirmed today at his official message board. Jones will reprise his role of S.G.C. technician Walter Harriman in the episodes.

Jones also told fans that he is performing his character’s voice for the upcoming video game Stargate SG-1: The Alliance. The game will be available in late 2005.

Creation Entertainment also reported this week that Jones will appear at the Burbank, California Stargate convention, July 8 to 10. The actor was originally booked for this event, but had to cancel — and is now back on.

Season Nine of Stargate SG-1 begins filming next week in Vancouver, British Columbia for a summer premiere on The SCI FI Channel.
