Puddle Jumper Model Coming From Master Replicas

Stargate Atlantis fans are about to have their patience rewarded. GateWorld can confirm that Master Replicas is now developing the Puddle Jumper model, which will be the next release in the company’s officially licensed line of Stargate ship models.

This follows the Odyssey, which has already gone up for pre-orders and is shipping in June.

The Puddle Jumper was introduced in the first episode of Stargate Atlantis, which premiered nearly 20 years ago in the summer of 2004. This small craft was engineered by the Lanteans (the Ancients) to fit through a Stargate, enabling them to distribute Stargates in space throughout the Pegasus Galaxy.

While they were likely made primarily for exploration and personnel transport, the ships also come equipped with drone weapons and a cloaking device.

A Jumper equipped with a unique time drive was later discovered in the Milky Way Galaxy (“It’s Good to Be King”), and featured heavily in the two-part finale of SG-1‘s eighth season.

Though we don’t have a target release window for the Jumper model just yet, we do expect this one to arrive later in 2024. The company’s license also includes prop replicas and figures.

Master Replicas shared this early look at the Jumper’s CAD (computer-aided design) file with GateWorld readers:

The company has confirmed that the model will be produced with the drive pods in the extended position. In the future they might produce a second version with the drive pods closed if there is enough interest from collectors.

This makes the Puddle Jumper the eighth ship in the Stargate models line. Ahead of this and the Odyssey Eaglemoss and Master Replicas has released the Daedalus, Goa’uld Mothership, Death Glider, F-302, and Prometheus. The U.S.S. Hammond is also shipping soon as a Collector Club exclusive.

For collectors who might have missed one of the previously released ships, Master Replicas has also announced a restock drop coming next week. The Daedalus, F-302, and Death Glider will be available to order in limited quantities from Tuesday, April 30.
