Photos: ‘Coup D’etat,’ ‘Inferno,’ ‘Allies’

GateWorld has just published the first photos from three upcoming episodes of Stargate Atlantis, courtesy of New Atlantis: “Coup D’etat,” “Inferno,” and the season finale, “Allies.”

In “Coup D’etat” Sheppard goes in search of a missing team from Atlantis, and soon encounters a group of Genii soldiers wanting to form an alliance to overthrow their leaders. The episode premieres February 17 on SCI FI in the U.S.

In “Inferno,” the team meats a civilization living on a world with a super-volcano, and must convince them to evacuate when it is discovered that the volcano is about to wipe them out. Andromeda‘s Brandy Ledford guest stars in the early March episode.

Atlantis‘s sophomore season concludes in “Allies,” a cliffhanger episode in which the expedition strikes up a tenous alliance with Michael, the Wraith they previously tried to turn into a human. Now Michael and his new queen want Dr. Beckett’s retrovirus so that they can turn their Wraith enemies into humans to feed upon.

“Allies” is expected to air in early March on SCI FI.
