Korolev

The ship is likely named for Sergey Pavlovich Korolyov, the Soviet Union's chief rocket engineer during the space race. The commander is Colonel Chekov. The Korolev was given Russian control after President Henry Hayes decided it was the only way to keep the Stargate in the hands of the United States government.

The ship was fast-tracked into active duty to support the anti-Ori armada at the former coordinates of P3Y-229. The vessel engaged four Ori warships alongside the Odyssey, as well as Tok'ra, Asgard, Free Jaffa and Lucian Alliance allies. But the shields and weapons of the Ori warships were too strong. The Korolev was completely destroyed.
