Japanese scientist who joined the initial Atlantis expedition into the Pegasus Galaxy. Her department head is Dr. Rodney McKay. In an Atlantis data burst she emphasized her respect and admiration for McKay to her loved ones. She spoke of how honorable and brave he was, though McKay spends most of his time torturing his scientists with his idiosyncrasies.
Miko also took a moment to discuss her continuing efforts in her work, and complimented her fellow staff workers on their diligence in their duties.
Miko may be the first name of Dr. Kusanagi.
