Actor who portrayed Colonel Danning -- a character based on Martin Lloyd's subconscious memory of [[[Jack O'Neill]] -- in the television series Wormhole X-Treme!
Although the show ran for ten years, Marlowe left the series after its eighth season (paralleling Richard Dean Anderson's own departure from the main cast of Stargate SG-1). When it came time to negotiate for the movie based on the show, Marlowe held out for a bigger paycheck.
