It is not yet known when the series will hit the shelves, or whether it will include both SG-1 and Atlantis.
The New Jersey-based company has published trading card series based on such properties as 24, “Madagascar,” “Shrek 2,” and The Apprentice, and games for World Wrestling Entertainment. They are also currently developing collectible card games for “Godzilla” and “Conan.”
Stargate was originally slated to have a trading card game published this past spring by Genio (story), but the company went out of business last fall amidst an avalanche of product returns and an egress of its top executives.
