Atlantis not ‘Rising’ in syndication

The second half of Stargate Atlantis‘s series premiere failed to draw as many viewers in the show’s second week in U.S. syndication. “Rising, Part 2” earned a 1.5 average household rating the week of September 26, down 12 percent from the 1.7 earned by Part 1.

In off-network news, 24 made its syndication bow during the week of September 26 with a 2.5 rating, according to TV Week. Alias dropped 8 percent to a 2.3, Smallville stayed even with another 1.7, and Enterprise got a much-needed boost to a 1.5 (25 percent).

The Canadian series Da Vinci’s Inquest earned a 1.9 in its third week in U.S. syndication.

Ratings for Stargate SG-1‘s second week in the 2005-2006 syndication broadcast year will be available next week.
