The episode continues where “Resurfacing” left off, with Sivea and Bay’lar trapped in a Bentari prison along with additional Vorians, forced to work in a naquadah mine.
When Commander Callen learns of his people having been captured, he and the rest of Horizon-1 gate to the Bentari homeworld to try and reason with the Bentari leaders — who make a surprising demand.
“… Shall We Not Revenge?” is the second part of a two-parter, which introduces the Bentari –- an alien species referred to in several previous episodes of the series. The episode was written by Alex Rubit and Marc Broadbent. Guest characters include Lieutenant Hiron Bay’lar, Commander To’man Garren, Che’ralak, Gren’corock, and Gar’ultak –- the latter three all being Bentari characters.
While few plot details have been revealed, the remainder of Season Three promises a balance between stand-alone and arc episodes, with the season concluding in a six-episode finale arc, as recently announced at GateWorld Forum.
